Trojan Sports Lineup!
Monday: the girls Basketball team tips things off against Fort LeBoeuf.
Tuesday: Is a double-header of action! The Cross Country team is racing over to Frontier Park, While the Girls Basketball team takes on Corry Area Middle School.
Wednesday: Our Football Team hits the road to Erie to take on Strong Vincent.
Thursday: The Girls Basketball team wraps up the week against General McLane.
Picture day is Monday, October 13th! This year we are using a new picture company, Don't wear green!! 

Learning to ski or snowboard:
The JS Wilson Snowsports Club would like to invite you to join us for 8 weeks of winter fun this year! Students interested in traveling to Peek 'n Peek every Thursday night in January and February to ski after school should see Mrs. Weiss in room 403 (pod 071) or Mrs. Glass in room 412 (pod 072) for information on how to join.
There are 25 spots available on the bus that JS Wilson will share with Westlake's Snowsports Club. To secure a spot on the bus, you need to return your spot as soon as possible.
Attention all students! Reflections 2026 is here. Do you like to draw? How about take photos or make videos? Make music? dance? write? The theme this year is " What my culture means to me." Interested students can pick up a copy of the information in the office. All entries are due by November 1st.

Calling all 6th, 7th and 8th graders! If you love basketball, now's your chance to hit the court! MYAA Basketball is open now through September 30th! Head over to myaasports.com for more information and to register.

The Navy Blue Hoops Academy Registration is open for any Erie County Boy in grades 6-8. The program focuses on development of proper skills and fundamentals needed to compete. Email Kevin O'Connor at oconnor@mtsd.org to get signed up. Please list the player name, grade, school, shirt size, email address, and phone number.

November 11th is Veterans Day and we will be honoring our Veterans with a Poster an Poem Contest. The theme is " Power of Paralyzed Veterans of America."
Mr. Garrity from Westlake will be sponsoring the PJAS science activity this year. PJAS is a science program where students develop and complete a project using the scientific method or engineering design process. Students have the opportunity to present their projects at Penn State Behrend in February and if selected can travel to Penn State Main Campus in May for three days to present their projects and stay on the campus. It is a great opportunity for students who have a love for science or are interested in a career in science someday. Please stop by the office and pick out an information sheet.
